Missions

The Grace Family supports world missions – through prayer, finances and sending laborers into the mission field. Our great commission is to go into all the world, so as we minister to our neighbors, we also want to extend our message to the nations.

In April of 2008, we sent a team on a medical missions trip to Costa Rica. This trip was such a success that plans were made for another trip in March of 2009. This trip contained many projects. The team hosted five medical clinics and built a walkway for the school. Yet another project had them stationed at the Maleku tribe where they helped construct a church. As if that were not enough, Dexter and Pastor Phillip taught every night at various churches and celebrated with a three night revival. After returning to the states, several donations were sent to the facilitating pastor which included household items and study material.

A small team, including Pastor Phillip & Dexter, visited Costa Rica again in October 2009. This trip was multi-purpose. The team hosted a Pastor’s Conference on the Manifestation of the Holy Spirit, with over 70 pastors attending. The inauguration of the Rehabilitation Center also took place. FLAME assists this center by providing used equipment which is donated by Walton Rehab. The team had the opportunity to meet the President of Costa Rica at the inauguration of the center.

All of the efforts made in Costa Rica have produced much fruit. As a result, a team is being assembled now to make another trip in the spring of 2010.
